The name Rifrullo comes from the Florentine dialect, meaning “a place where people gather.”
Located in a former animal stable with original features like arches and a fireplace, Il Rifrullo was transformed in the 1980s into a vibrant live music venue by local seaman Mario Frangioni.
For over 30 years, it has been a go-to spot for both locals and visitors. Today, it’s a full-fledged restaurant — still serving iconic creations like the stiaccina, reimagined for modern tastes.
